How do I sign up?
All registrations will be processed online. Check the registration page of this website for the link. If you have any questions, please call the Olympic Center Arena Office at 518-523-1655.
What are the ID cards used for?
The ID cards are primarily used to check into the sessions that you have pre-registered for. Each ID card is scanned to make sure the skater is on the correct session. Additionally, the cards provide admission to the Saturday Night Ice Shows, Freaky Fridays, the Lake Placid Summer Figure Skating Championships and the Lake Placid Ice Dancing Championships.
How can I sign up for lessons?
Private coaching is available for all disciplines -- freestyle, moves in the field, dance, pairs and figures. Please make all coaching arrangements directly with the coach of your choice using the contact information provided on this website.
Do I need to sign up in advance for group classes?
No. Simply purchase a group lesson ticket at the Box Office and go to the class of your choice.
How to you purchase tickets for classes and private lessons?
Tickets for private instruction, on- and off-ice group classes and extra ice tickets can all be purchased at the Olympic Center Box Office. Their hours are: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sundays during orientation. You can leave a credit card permission form on file at the Box Office for your child to use to purchase tickets. We strongly recommend that you purchase tickets on a weekly basis as there are NO REFUNDS on unused, lost, or stolen lesson tickets. Tickets may be exchanged at the Box Office for another professional.
There will be no refunds on lockers, testing, extra ice cards or harness cards. Refunds will only be given for unused lesson tickets, on-ice and off-ice classes and ice time when the skater misses two or more weeks of continuous ice time due to a documented medical reason. Refund requests must be made in writing to the Arena Office with a doctor's note attached by September 1, 2019. Refunds are subject to a 15% filing fee and take 4-6 weeks to process. If a refund is approved, a check will be mailed to the address specified. Please note: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR LOST OR STOLEN LESSON TICKETS. THEY ARE TREATED LIKE CASH.
